Golden Turmeric Tea

The purist's daily ritual. Clean, warming, and takes 5 minutes.

Serves: 1

Ingredients

     300 ml boiling water

     1 tsp turmeric powder

     ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated

     1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

     ¼ tsp ground black pepper

     1 tsp raw honey

Method

1.  Boil and cool water: Boil water and let cool for 1–2 minutes until around 85–90°C.

2.  Add spices: Add turmeric, ginger, and black pepper to your mug. Pour in the hot water and stir well.

3.  Add lemon and honey: Squeeze in lemon juice and stir in honey once the water has cooled slightly.

4.  Steep and serve: Let steep for 2 minutes, stir once more, and drink while warm.

Tip: Add honey after cooling slightly — boiling water destroys its beneficial enzymes. Best consumed first thing in the morning.
