How This Formula Works?

Our Organic Turmeric Powder is harvested from our own farms in India and sun-dried to give you the best quality organic turmeric you will find. Its bright orange texture will add flavour and colour to every meal while also providing digestive and liver support.

The powerful active component of Turmeric is Curcumin powder, and this much-loved vibrant spice not only packs a punch in your favourite curry and stir fry, but its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities are scientifically supported to improve general well-being.

The body is quick to recognise food sources and has an innate knowledge in how to utilise them. When combined with our favourite meals, Turmeric not only enhances the flavour, but also provides our body with a food source it can use quickly and efficiently that supports our health.

Dosage and Warnings

The recommended daily intake is 1 teaspoon per day.

Does not contain:

Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, Lactose, Soy, Artificial colours, Artificial flavours, Artificial sweeteners, Bee products, Corn, Egg, MSG or any kind of nut. No fillers, additives or preservatives. Capsules are of vegetable cellulose origin and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

TURMERIC PASTE RECIPE FOR HUMANS AND ANIMALS:

Place ½ cup turmeric and 1 cup water in a pan, stirring over gentle heat until you have a thick paste. This should take about 7 - 10 minutes and you may need to add additional water along the way.

Add 1 ½ tsp freshly ground pepper and mix well. Remove from heat and add in ⅓ cup oil. Using a whisk, mix well until the mixture is smooth and the oil is mixed through evenly. Pour mixture into a glass bowl and allow to cool.

The Golden Paste will keep for 2 weeks, refrigerated. Freeze a portion if you think you have too much to use within two weeks.

Use for golden milk, smoothies, stir into yoghurt, add to your dinner plate as a condiment… AND don’t forget your pet’s dinner plate or your horse feed … run wild!

NOTE: You can leave out the pepper if you cannot tolerate it. The absorption of turmeric will still be improved by cooking the paste AND by the inclusion of oil, BUT remember it will be less effective without the pepper.

Product FAQs

The recommended daily intake is one teaspoon. This product is free from gluten, wheat, dairy, lactose, soy, artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners, bee products, corn, egg, MSG, and nuts.

It contains no fillers, additives, or preservatives, and the capsules are made from vegetable cellulose, making them suitable for vegetarians and vegans. For a versatile and nourishing preparation, try making Golden Paste—a blend of turmeric, water, black pepper, and oil—simmered into a thick, smooth paste. It can be enjoyed in golden milk, smoothies, yogurt, or as a condiment, and is also safe for pets and horses.

The paste can be stored in the fridge for up to two weeks, with any extra portions frozen if needed. If you are sensitive to black pepper, you may omit it, though the combination of heat and oil still supports turmeric’s absorption, albeit with slightly reduced efficacy.

WHAT’S INSIDE MATTERS.

You deserve to know exactly what you’re putting into your body. That’s why every Turmeric Australia capsule is crafted with clean, plant-powered ingredients—no fillers, no additives, no fluff.

Where is your Turmeric grown?

We source our turmeric from its native India, renowned for producing the world’s finest turmeric due to its rich soil, ideal climate, and traditional farming methods. Our supply comes from a family-owned organic plantation in Karnataka, South India, over 2,000 miles from Bangladesh. Known for its high curcumin content, this turmeric is grown sustainably without synthetic chemicals, ensuring purity and maximum health benefits while supporting local communities.

Why we don't buy our Turmeric in Austrralia?

Australian farmers face significant challenges due to strict government regulations, high operational costs, and limited agricultural resources for certain crops.

When it comes to turmeric, Australia simply doesn’t have organic farms capable of producing the quantities we need, at the frequency we require, to maintain a consistent supply. Turmeric farming in Australia is still in its infancy, with small-scale operations that primarily cater to fresh produce markets rather than the large-scale production of powdered organic turmeric.

By sourcing from India, the natural home of turmeric, we ensure not only the highest quality product but also a reliable and sustainable supply chain. This allows us to meet our customers' needs while supporting farming communities in a region where turmeric farming has been perfected over centuries.

Since 2013, we have sourced our turmeric from a family farm in Karnataka, India, creating a partnership that goes far beyond business. The volume of turmeric we purchase not only keeps the farm and surrounding community in stable employment but also ensures that our financial support flows directly back into the local economy. Over the past decade, this collaboration has helped the area thrive and grow. Our commitment to this community remains steadfast, and we are proud to continue supporting them for as long as we can.

The organic turmeric they grow for us meets all Australian standards and is certified organic by the ACO.  Each harvest has a certificate of analysis, a heavy metal test report and a microbiology report.  Our Turmeric is tested just the same as all food products to ensure it meets the quality and Australian standards for food manufacturing. Our products are manufactured in Certified Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP) facilities here on the Gold Coast.  Click here for the full story and our list of certifications.

The Karnataka region where our farm is was one of the first regions in India to be part of the updated state government launched Organic Farming Policy 2017, but has been in place since 2004.  This policy aims to bring organic farming into the mainstream and transform agriculture in Karnataka into a sustainable remunerative occupation enabling production of nutritious food by promoting eco-friendly organic farming and marketing systems. The policy strategies included organic farming in mainstream agriculture, focus on region and season specific crops to increase farm output and income, added as beneficiaries under various strategies, adoption of group centric approach in production, handling and marketing of organic produce, diversified farming for maximising production, productivity and farm income and promotion of Neutra Cereals. The policy also focus on conservation and management of soil and water and agri-ecosystem, improve supply chain and infrastructure for post-harvest, simplification and authentication, enforce quality control, branding, labelling and packaging of organic produce.

What is the difference between Turmeric and Curcumin?

This is a common question. The main difference between the Organic Turmeric with Black Pepper and Ginger and the Curcumin Plus is that Turmeric is the whole-food and Curcumin is a single extract found within the Turmeric root.

We have an article that explains it all right here.

How do I know which one to take? Which one is stronger?

Our customers generally start with the Turmeric capsules as it is the whole food as Mother Nature intended us to consume it.  However, if your ailment is more severe then the curcumin extract might be a better place to start.  Still not sure, don’t worry we have a great article here for you to explain it all for you.

What is the difference between Organic and Non-Organic?

Turmeric, which is grown not using any artificial pesticides, manure etc. Organic farming of turmeric will rely on natural manures such as compost etc. and biological pest control methods such as Neem oil, rather than spraying harmful pesticides which enter our body causing various health issues. Organic farming relies on methods such as crop rotation, salinity control of soil, predatory beneficial insects, turning soil after crops etc., to make sure crops are weed free but without pesticides.  Similarly, the manure used on organic farms is also natural. An organic farm will use green manure or compost to make the crop healthy. As you can see the above tasks are not as easy to carry out in today’s world of easily accessible chemical pesticides and manures. Thus, organic products are generally more expensive than non-organic ones.

Are your products safe for animals?

Our Organic Turmeric capsules and Organic Turmeric Powder are completely safe for humans and animals alike.  We also make a Pet Probiotic powder with Turmeric.  It is vegan friendly with a brothy chicken flavour.  You can find out more about this product here.

What percentage of Curcumin is in your turmeric capsules?

The percentage of curcumin varies based on the species. For example, curcumin percentage in curcuma aromatica (used in toiletry products) is much smaller than curcuma longa (which we commonly call as turmeric). However typically 2.5 to 5% depending on the crop, the area, and the processing.  Don’t waste hours on google trying to find turmeric with the highest percentage of curcumin.   Your concern should be buying a good quality organic powder (non-adulterated one, with the required certifications etc.).

How many milligrams of curcumin is in your capsules?

The short answer is 200mg per 4 capsules.  Turmeric contains approximately 3.14% percent curcumin by weight. “If you want natural anti inflammatory affects, generally speaking you need to get 500 to 1,000 milligrams of curcuminoids per day.” When using the spice on its own, the common rule of thumb is that there are 200 milligrams of curcumin in one teaspoon of fresh or ground turmeric.   Each of our capsules contain 1/4 teaspoon with a daily recommendation of taking 4 per day.

However, it is worth noting when extracting the curcumin from the whole food you also leave behind the many other benefits of the whole food.  For example.  Turmeric, whole food is high in dietary fibre, Vits B6, C & E.  It is also high in iron and potassium and a good source of zinc.

We also have a straight curcumin extract available as well standardised 65-95% https://bit.ly/2Nj0D7a

Can I take the capsules and the bio-fermented liquid at the same time?

Yes, you can.  There is only 900mg of turmeric in the liquids as it is primarily a pro-biotic taken for gut health.  4 Capsules are equal to 2,720mg of turmeric or one teaspoon so you can see the difference in strength by comparison.
