Turmeric Chocolate Granola Bars

Ingredients (Makes 8 bars)

  • 1 tsp Turmeric Australia Organic Turmeric Powder
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or cashews, chopped)
  • ¼ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 100g dark chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C and line a baking tray.
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, nuts, turmeric, honey, and coconut oil until coated.
  3. Spread on tray and bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway. Let cool slightly.
  4. Press mixture firmly into a lined tin to form a slab. Chill for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate and spread evenly over the top. Chill again until set.
  6. Slice into bars and enjoy!
