  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for vegan)
  • 1/2 cup cold water or milk (or dairy-free milk for vegan)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • A pinch of salt
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish


  1. In a blender, combine the mango chunks, plain yogurt, cold water or milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), ground turmeric, ground cardamom, chopped fresh mint leaves, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. If you prefer a thinner lassi, add a bit more water or milk and blend again. If you like it thicker, add a few ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  3. Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.
  4. Pour the Turmeric Mango Lassi into glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a sprinkle of ground cardamom if desired.
  5. Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.
