Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup plain yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for vegan)
- 1/2 cup cold water or milk (or dairy-free milk for vegan)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped
- A pinch of salt
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the mango chunks, plain yogurt, cold water or milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), ground turmeric, ground cardamom, chopped fresh mint leaves, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If you prefer a thinner lassi, add a bit more water or milk and blend again. If you like it thicker, add a few ice cubes and blend until smooth.
- Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.
- Pour the Turmeric Mango Lassi into glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a sprinkle of ground cardamom if desired.
- Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.
