Turmeric Prawn Tostadas
Crispy tostadas, juicy prawns, lime, and a golden dusting of turmeric — this is a fiesta your stomach will thank you for. Big flavour, minimal effort.

Ingredients
For the prawns:
- 300 g prawns, peeled & deveined
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper
For the tostadas:
- Corn tostadas or lightly toasted tortillas
- Shredded cabbage
- Diced red onion
- Crumbled feta or cotija
- Lime wedges
- Drizzle of yoghurt or sour cream
Method
- Toss prawns with turmeric, paprika, lime juice, oil, salt and pepper.
- Pan-sear for 2–3 minutes until cooked through.
- Layer tostadas with cabbage, prawns, onion and cheese.
- Drizzle lightly with yoghurt or sour cream.
- Serve with lime wedges.
